All are invited to this joyful gathering to embrace transition, meet our new residents, and get (re)acquainted with the Fireplace. We will welcome Katerina and Melanie, and celebrate long-time resident Leslie as she moves out.

Advent Open House
Join the Fireplace Community as we celebrate Advent -- the approach of Christmas! During our Open House, we will be visited by a troupe of wassailers as part of the 10th Annual Hyde Park Wassail. We'll share in this folk tradition of song and dance -- and enjoy festive goodies, beverages, and activities. RSVPs (via this link) appreciated but not required.
Note: The wassailers will come near the beginning, so arrive at 1 pm if you want to be sure to see them. We will have other activities for friends who join later in the afternoon, including a sing-a-long -- bring instruments!

Open Community Dinner + Mini Open House
Our weekly Tuesday/Thursday Community Dinners are generally open to non-residents (just email us to RSVP!), but we've designated this upcoming dinner as a "mini open house" to encourage first-time visitors to check us out. Contemplating Spring
Spring brings longer days and new growth. Join the Fireplace Community and artist Kiki McGrath as we explore the greening of the season with a walk in the garden and simple drawings of buds, petals and plants. At this writer's retreat we’ll explore contemplative practices and writing techniques that could fuel our creative work! Writers of all levels and genres are welcome to join for a chance to write alongside others and develop their writing projects in the midst of a supportive community!
